5 Cafes I Keep Going Back to in LA

If you're looking for cozy, aesthetic cafes in Los Angeles, these are my absolute favorites.

I love discovering places that feel calm, warm, and inspiring — whether it's for a slow morning, catching up with friends, or just spending time alone with a good coffee.

Here are a few cafes I always find myself going back to.

☕ 1. Maru Coffee

I’ve tried so many cream tops, but somehow I always come back to Maru.

Their cream top really just hits different. Every time I take that first sip, I still have that same reaction — like, wow, this is so good.

For me, this is the standard. Like if I’m judging a cream top anywhere else, I’m comparing it to Maru.

They have two locations, but I usually go to the Arts District one — it’s bigger, more seating, and just feels more chill. Still very LA though.

The whole space is wood, minimal, really aesthetic. And they even sell their own beans, which is really cute.

I always get the cream top. Always.

📍1936 Hillhurst Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90027

☕ 2. Concierge Coffee

This place is originally from Germany, and it has that super clean, minimal vibe that I really like.

It’s quiet, simple, and just feels very calming — perfect for when you want a slower kind of coffee moment.

Their signature drinks are honestly all really solid. The coffee is pretty strong and rich, but not bitter at all.

And their ice cream is actually so good — I didn’t expect it, but I’d definitely get it again.

Definitely one of my current favorites in LA.

📍821 Traction Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90013

☕ 3.Community Goods

The space is very minimal, with a warm wood cabin kind of vibe — simple, cozy, and really aesthetic.

Apparently Bieber and Hailey come here too, which is kind of cute.

Their signature is the einspänner latte, and it’s really good. The coffee is strong and smooth, and the cream on top just makes everything better.

They also have some pastries and breakfast. The pistachio toast is one of their signatures, and it’s actually really good. The bread is super soft and fluffy — I feel like I could eat it on its own.

There’s street parking nearby, but it does get pretty busy, so you’ll probably have to wait.

📍710 N Edinburgh Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90046

☕️ 4.STAGGER COFFEE

A well-known spot in Ktown with a super clean, minimal, very Instagram-style vibe.

Their drinks are really creative, but the Double Matcha is a must. I highly recommend it — it honestly surprised me. It’s matcha with a matcha cream top, super smooth and rich, and just really, really good.

The Donut Latte is also worth trying. It’s smooth, slightly sweet, and has that hint of donut flavor without being too heavy.

The only downside is the portion is pretty small — I finished it way too fast. Parking is limited too, but there’s valet.

📍3069 1/2 W 8th St, Los Angeles, CA 90005

☕️ 5.Rề Cà Phê

A Vietnamese coffee spot in Orange County — the coffee here is really rich and bold in that very classic Vietnamese way.

The marble latte is so, so good. Strong, smooth, and just really satisfying.

I also loved the black sesame coffee and the sea salt coffee — both are really, really good. The black sesame one is super rich and intense, in the best way.

The drinks are a bit small, but everything is very concentrated. Espresso with cream, rich but not too sweet or heavy.

Parking is easy, which makes it even better.

📍9430 Warner Ave # N, Fountain Valley, CA 92708
